Milestones
Alan Hercher played his 50th major competitive game for the Club.

The visitors survived early pressure before they had chances through John Scott and Mike Teasdale.

In 41 minutes Albion nearly took the lead when a good Russell shot was held by Calder. A minute later David Byrne brought down Daisy Ross and Iain Stewart put the visitors into the lead from the penalty spot.

Albion fought back early in the second half and came close through Russell, Gallacher and Willock. At the other end substitute Colin Mitchell shot past the left hand post.

On 76 minutes Caley Thistle made it 2-0 when Alan Hercher scored from 8 yards after good work by Iain Stewart. Albion put pressure on the visitors defence towards the end but the score remained 2-0.
