First Team Debuts

Milestones

A poor performance by the home side and a blow to their promotion hopes. They were on top in the first half but could not score.

Colin Mitchell came close in 12 minutes but his 20 yard chip hit the upright. In the second half Iain Stewart shot over the bar and Chalmers saved well from Stewart and Mitchell. At the other end Jim Calder saved well from Arbuckle.

In 71 minutes Paul McKenzie, on his return from a long-term injury, set up the opening goal. He was only on the park for 4 minutes when his perfectly flighted cross found Alan Hercher at the back post - his close range header made it 1-0. The home side should have increased the lead but instead Graham snatched an equaliser 4 minutes from time with a spectacular 20 yard shot.
