Two injury time goals turned this game and lifted the Inverness side to the top of the league. They took the lead in 4 minutes when Thomson took a rebound off the post and slotted it home. Petrie equalised in 17 minutes and in 49 minutes Winter put Cowdenbeath ahead. McMahon made it 3-1 in 73 minutes and in 76 minutes Hercher pulled one back with a powerful header from 8 yards after a Thomson free kick. After over 5 minutes of injury time Wilson was brought down by keeper Russell and Thomson equalised with the penalty. From the restart the visitors attacked and Tokely sent over a cross which fooled Russell - he dived too early and Stewart nipped in to make it 4-3.
