Milestones
Any last Inverness hopes of promotion were dashed by this defeat.
Calder made a fine save in the 5th minute from MacLean then 2 minutes later he denied Dwyer - the rebound was collected by McBride who fired East Stirling into the lead.
Caley Thistle fought back and chances fell to Stewart, Teasdale and Christie.
Dwyer hit the bar then in 32 minutes he made it 2-0 following a 40 yard run. On the 40 minute Mark MacLean made it 3-0 with a volley from 30 yards.
Early in the second half McGinlay was through for the home side but he hit the ball at McDougall. In 73 minutes Stewart should have grabbed a consolation - he left McDougall lying in the goalmouth dust but failed to score.
