Milestones

This game started badly for Caley Thistle when they lost a goal in 2 minutes. The goal came as a result of a poor defensive clearance from a Robert Lee shot - it fell to Geraghty who blasted the ball high into the net.

Veteran striker Billy Urquhart nearly equalised 6 minutes later but his shot was brilliantly saved by McDougall.

At the other end Lee Cuthbert came close for East Stirling. The visitors efforts at snatching an equaliser resulted in a Christie header being cleared off the line and a Mitchell shot hitting the post.

In the second half Mitchell again came close but McDougall saved well. The home side created a number of chances but their finishing was poor.
